A little about how it started is I found out not all children are raised with loving parents, family, a loving community, or a sense of normalcy within their abilities. I have been so blessed to grow up surrounded by loving parents, family and community. I have always loved being on the farm. My Mom’s side of the family were all farmers. My Dads side were all race cars, race boats and airplanes. There is something very special about being around God’s majesty (farming). It heals the soul and that is how A Center for Living Hope Started. It is based on 1 Peter 1:3-5. When I witnessed how horses heal souls I wanted more of it. Therapeutic riding helps heal the mind, soul, and body.
